Taking Your Household Out of Chicago, Start to Finish
On an interstate move, the part that should worry you is the handoff most companies bury in the fine print, the moment your furniture gets transferred to a van line or a stranger’s trailer. Forrester doesn’t operate that way. We hold our own US DOT and MC numbers and roll our own equipment, so your shipment is never auctioned off or rebranded mid-route. Marcus Delgado heads our interstate team, and the movers who load your Lincoln Park apartment are the ones who unpack it wherever you’re headed.
What an Interstate Move Looks Like With Us
We start with a full inventory in your home, hand you a binding flat-rate figure in writing, and commit to a delivery date you can plan around. Your goods get one truck to themselves the entire way down the interstate, you track that truck live by GPS, and Marcus stays a direct phone call away rather than a number in a support queue.
On Every Out-of-State Haul
- A binding flat rate that holds firm right through delivery
- A truck reserved for your household alone, never shared freight
- Live GPS tracking and a crew chief you can name and reach
- Everything padded and inventoried before pickup leaves the curb
- A committed delivery date, backed by $1M in cargo coverage
Outside the Quote
The binding number pays for the haul itself. Full packing is an optional add-on, and storage is too if your closing dates don’t sync. When there’s a gap between move-out and move-in, ask about our climate-controlled short-term storage, which we bridge on the same inventory.
How We Price It
Mileage and volume drive the cost, so we build the figure from what’s actually in your home instead of guessing by a clock. As a reference point, our local flat rates span $395 for a studio to $910 for a three-bed; the interstate number gets locked binding only once we’ve reviewed the full inventory.
