You Rent the Truck, We Bring the Backs
If you’ve already booked the rental and you’re fine behind the wheel, what you usually want is professional muscle for the punishing part, hauling the heavy stuff up the ramp and packing it so it survives the drive. Load help covers exactly that. Bring whatever you’ve rented and keep the keys; our movers fill it or empty it quickly, packed tight and balanced. We deliberately stay off the steering wheel, and that’s one reason the price stays as low as it does.
What We Bring
- Pro labor to fill or empty whatever you’ve rented
- A tight, balanced pack so the load rides without shifting
- Furniture pads and shrink wrap as the job needs
- Our own dollies, straps and floor runners on hand
- Take-down and rebuild on beds and large furniture
How the Job Runs
You’ve got the unit parked wherever the spot allows; we size up the contents by shape and weight, set the heavy anchors at the front, and wedge everything else against them so it can’t travel. Anything that comes apart for extra room, comes apart. Unloading simply runs the process backward, with items carried to the rooms you indicate and the disassembled pieces rebuilt. When it’s icy, the ramp and walk get salted and runners go down before the first dolly, since a loaded hand truck on a slick ramp is how a self-move turns into an emergency room story.
The One Hard Limit
Worth stating plainly: the driving isn’t ours. We won’t pilot the truck, pull a trailer, or relocate a POD from one address to another, that piece belongs to you or the rental outfit. The vehicle and the fuel are yours as well, and anything loose and unboxed isn’t covered unless you box it or we wrap it first.
Pricing
Billing is hourly, opening at $150/hr with two movers on the books and a two-hour minimum, typically the most economical way to get a trained crew on the job. If the load runs heavy or the unit is up several flights, a third mover may make sense, and we’ll sort that out over the phone.
