How a Pack Day Runs
Arriving fully stocked, the crew moves through the home one room at a time, leaving the least-used spaces first and the kitchen for the very end. Fragile items each get wrapped before they’re set into anything. As boxes close, they’re labeled by room and tallied onto your inventory, which turns the eventual unpack into something orderly instead of a dig through anonymous cardboard. The bottoms get a second pass of tape as well, because in Chicago a carton tends to sit on a freezing dock or a salt-streaked alley a time or two before it reaches the new door.
What We Won’t Box
Hazardous goods, open liquids, ammunition and perishables stay put, since carriers reject them regardless. Unpacking and putting away at the far end is only done on request. And our guarantee stands behind the cartons our crew sealed, not any you taped up on your own.

The figure comes from the materials and labor your particular home calls for, then sits on top of the move. To give scale, flat-rate moves range from $395 for a studio to $910 for a three-bed; the pack-out earns its own quote once we’ve gauged how much glass and china needs protecting.
