To quote and run your move we need a handful of basics — who you are, how to reach you, and the addresses on each end. We do not sell your information. We share it only with the providers it takes to do your job and run the business, we protect it sensibly, and if you want it deleted, one phone call handles it.

Forrester Moving (“Forrester,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) is a moving company operating from 159 N Sangamon St, Suite 200, Chicago, IL 60607. This policy covers what we collect through this website and while providing moving services across Chicago and the surrounding area, and what we do with it.
Information You Give Us
Request a quote, lock a date, or get in touch with the office and you give us things straight off: name, phone, email; both addresses, where you are leaving and where you are going; the dates you favor; and a rundown of what is moving. We may also take payment information, processed securely through our payment provider, along with any notes or messages you send.
Information Collected Automatically
As you use this site, we automatically log limited technical data — your IP address, the browser and device you’re on, the pages you open, and the time of your visit — through cookies and similar tools. This keeps the site working and helps us understand how visitors use it.
How We Use It
We use your information to build and send your estimate, schedule and run the move, prepare paperwork such as certificates of insurance, take payment and issue receipts, keep in touch about the job and work through any claims, and meet our legal and regulatory duties — including those tied to our ILCC, US DOT, and MC authority. It is a help, too, in making the website and the service better. We contact you about your move, and about anything else only if you’ve asked us to.
When We Share It
Your personal information is never something we put up for sale. It goes to outside parties only when one needs it to do a job for us — our own crew and dispatch staff, payment processors, scheduling software, insurance carriers, and IT vendors — and never beyond what that work requires. On top of that, we hand over information where a law, a court order, or a government authority calls for it, or where it takes that to safeguard our rights, our customers, or our people.

Children
Our site and services are intended for adults, and we do not knowingly gather data from anyone under 18. Think a kid may have submitted something to us? Tell us and it comes down.
